What is A Home Church?

When the church of our Lord Jesus Christ first started some two thousand years ago, they were meeting at their homes. The temples and synagogues that you read about a lot in the New Testament of the Bible did not belong to the community of early Christians, they belonged to Judaism, the religion of the Jews.

The closure of traditional places of worship during the height of Covid-19 gave us confirmation of the vision that we received from God back in 2015. In that same year in 2020, we are able to start planting Home Churches using God’s provisions that came through the generosity of our ministry partners.

Our movement is about building people, not buildings. We believe that what God wants for His church is to become like how it was before in the beginning, with believers praying and eating together at their homes [Acts 2:46]. And from house to house, teaching the Good News that Jesus is the Messiah [Acts 5:42]. Our hashtag “Jesus@everyhome” inspires us to literally bring Jesus to every home. If you are paying attention to the moral decline in cultures and societies, you will notice that it began when cultures and societies tried to remove Jesus and His Word from homes and schools. It’s time to take back what truly belongs to God.

AGAPE GLOBAL HOME CHURCH NETWORK is taking the lead towards that goal. We are building communities that are spiritually healthy, morally upright, physically fit, mentally alert, emotionally happy, and financially stable. In the midst of everything that we do is God Himself, and His Word.
