What Does the Bible Say About Ministry?

Ephesians 4:11–13 (CEV)
Christ chose some of us to be apostles, prophets, missionaries [evangelists], pastors, and teachers, so that his people would learn to serve and his body [Church] would grow strong. This will continue until we are united by our faith and by our understanding of the Son of God. Then we will be mature, just as Christ is, and we will be completely like him.

Ministry is using whatever God has given you to serve Him and the needs of others. Here at Agape, we help every follower of Jesus discover how they are uniquely shaped to serve. “Discovering My Ministry” is a class that we offer to maturing members of Agape who are inclined to find their ministry in the church where they can serve. Here you will learn the process of knowing your Spiritual gifts; knowing what your Heart is passionate about; knowing your Abilities that you’ve never expected applicable to ministry; knowing how your Personality could lead you to the right ministry; and knowing how you may use your life Experiences in serving others.
